Joyce provides full legal services to advise clients on all family law matters including divorce, guardianship, parenting arrangement for the child, support for the child, spousal support, and family property and debt division which includes high-net-worth property division. She also prepares pre-nuptial or cohabitation/marriage and separation agreements for her clients.
Joyce works with clients in their personal and estate planning to ensure that their succession plans are carried out in a smooth and tax efficient manner. She offers guidance through the probate process as well as estate administration, and any estate disputes clients may face.
Joyce is committed to the resolution of her clients’ matters and strives to accomplish an out-of-court resolution. She has successfully resolved cases through negotiated or mediated settlement for both family law and estate disputes. When a settlement is not reached, Joyce continues to represent the client and has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, creating new dishes in the kitchen, and tending to her garden.
