Chris Wong is a junior associate at Henderson & Lee Law, and he joined Henderson & Lee Law in 2021 as an articled student. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in May 2021, and has been called to the Bar of British Columbia.

 

During law school, Chris volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP). He primarily worked at LSLAP’s Chinatown clinic and provided pro bono legal services to clients in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese on over 50 files.

 

Chris assists clients in a variety of legal matters, including civil litigation, criminal defence, and family law, and has appeared before the provincial and supreme court of British Columbia, as well as administrative tribunals such as the Residential Tenancy Branch. Chris has handled a wide range of civil litigation cases, including various aspects such as small claims, tenancy disputes, debt collection, and matters related to strata law. Chris aims to work closely with his clients to ensure that they are fully informed of the process to pursue their goals in each legal matter. 

 

Outside of the office, Chris is an avid practitioner of martial arts. He also enjoys cooking and often experiments with new recipes.
