Jonathan Li joined Henderson & Lee Law in summer 2022 as an articling student after graduating from Peter A. Allard School of Law, the University of British Columbia. Prior to his legal study, Jonathan completed his undergraduate education in Beijing, during which he also briefly studied in Seoul.

 

During law school, Jonathan was actively involved in pro bono legal services at Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and Indigenous Communities Legal Clinic. He also worked as a research assistant at the University of British Columbia. Besides, he worked for several domestic and international companies on business and law related matters.

 

Jonathan works and lives on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of Coast Salish peoples. Outside his work, Jonathan enjoys reading, music, running, and exploring hiking areas in Metro Vancouver and travel destinations all over the world. He has also been participating in community and public affairs. In his third year at law school, he co-founded Allard Society of International Students and New Arrivals (ASISNA). He is currently an active BC member of the Runnymede Society and Christian Legal Fellowship.
